Talabat Hosts Educational Visit for Female Students from Academy X to Foster Technology and Entrepreneurship

Talabat, a leading technology company in the region, recently welcomed a group of female students from Academy X to its headquarters in Kuwait, emphasizing its commitment to empowering young women in technology and entrepreneurship. This visit marks a continuation of talabat’s collaboration with Coded through the Academy X initiative, started last March, aimed at addressing the gender gap in the tech industry.

The field trip provided the students with hands-on training and insights into the technology sector, highlighting the challenges and opportunities within. The educational session led by the talabat team drew from the company’s pioneering experiences to give a comprehensive overview of the dynamic nature of the tech industry.

Amal Bukhamseen, Director of Communications, Public Affairs, and Corporate Responsibility at talabat Kuwait, commented on the initiative, “Our efforts to host these talented young women reflect talabat’s broader commitment to enhancing technology education and increasing female participation in this vital sector.”

The visit included hands-on activities designed to enhance the students’ leadership skills, strategic thinking, and decision-making capabilities within a business environment. These exercises aimed to prepare them for leadership roles in technology projects and entrepreneurial ventures.
