Velents.ai Raises USD 1.5 Million to Launch First Arabic-Speaking AI Employee

CAIRO / RIYADH – October 27, 2025: Egypt–Saudi-based AI startup Velents.ai has secured USD 1.5 million in funding to introduce Agent.sa, the region’s first fully Arabic-speaking AI employee designed to revolutionize enterprise operations across the Middle East.

Founded in 2021 by Mohamed Gaber and Abdulaziz Almuhaydib, Velents initially operated as an intelligent recruitment platform before evolving in 2023 into a comprehensive enterprise AI solutions provider. The company’s newest product, Agent.sa, is capable of functioning like a human digital employee, handling calls, WhatsApp chats, data processing, and customer support in natural Arabic.

The funding round saw participation from angel investors, including senior executives from Google, BCG, and other international firms. Velents stated that Agent.sa integrates seamlessly with over 20 business platforms, including CRMs and payment systems, and can serve industries such as banking, telecom, logistics, and e-commerce.

According to co-founder Mohamed Gaber, the goal is to “enable companies in the Arab world to communicate and operate with AI in their own language—boosting productivity, reducing costs, and transforming how teams work.”

By introducing Agent.sa, Velents aims to lead a new wave of Arabic-native AI automation, replacing traditional software tools with AI co-workers that understand context, handle tasks intelligently, and evolve with organizational needs.
