Tunisian Traveltech Startup WildyNess Secures Pre-Seed Funding to Drive Regional Expansion

Tunis, November 3, 2025 — WildyNess, a Tunisian B2B2C traveltech startup, has announced the closing of its pre-seed funding round, co-led by Bridging Angels and the African Diaspora Network, marking a milestone for North Africa’s emerging travel technology ecosystem. The funding amount was not disclosed.

Founded in 2021 by Achraf Aouadi and Rym Bourguiba, WildyNess connects conscious travelers with authentic local experiences co-created with tourism micro-entrepreneurs, promoting sustainable and community-based tourism (CBT). The fresh capital will enable the startup to expand into Algeria, Saudi Arabia, Oman, and the UAE, while strengthening its technology infrastructure to scale operations.

Unlike mass-market platforms that focus on standardized attractions, WildyNess champions authentic, impact-driven travel. Since its 2022 launch, the company has generated over $300,000 in organic sales without any paid marketing — validating its model and highlighting a rising demand for meaningful travel experiences.

“This investment validates our thesis: the future of travel is not in volume, but in authenticity and impact,” said Achraf Aouadi, co-founder of WildyNess. “With backing from the African Diaspora Network and Bridging Angels, we’re ready to export Tunisia’s success story across the MENA region.”

Investors from Bridging Angels praised the team’s disciplined execution and customer focus, describing WildyNess as a model for African startups redefining their industries through innovation and purpose.

With this pre-seed round, WildyNess becomes the first B2C/B2B2C travel marketplace in North Africa to raise early-stage funding — signaling a shift toward sustainable, experience-led tourism as a new high-growth vertical in the region.
