Boosting MENA Connectivity: Mobi Egypt Partners with Es’hailSat

Es’hailSat, Qatar’s satellite operator, has announced a new partnership with Mobi Egypt, under which the Egyptian VSAT services provider will secure Ku-band capacity on the Es’hail-1 satellite at 25.5° East. The agreement will allow Mobi Egypt to migrate all its communication networks to Es’hailSat’s high-powered platform, enhancing service coverage and reliability across Egypt and the wider MENA region.

Based in Doha, Es’hailSat operates two satellites and a Tier-4-certified, 50,000-sqm teleport facility that supports broadcasters, telecom operators, governments, and enterprises across the region. The company said the collaboration strengthens its presence in Egypt, a key strategic market, and will help deliver secure, high-performance connectivity to customers.

Mobi Egypt, a licensed VSAT operator, specializes in telecom infrastructure, system integration, and managed services for sectors including oil and gas, banking, and public institutions. With the new capacity, the company aims to provide more robust satellite connectivity for remote and mission-critical operations supported by 24/7 global service.

Es’hailSat President and CEO Ali Ahmed Al-Kuwari said the partnership aligns with the company’s goal to expand high-speed satellite connectivity across MENA, noting that Es’hailSat’s reliable data services and teleport infrastructure will give Mobi Egypt a strong platform to scale its capabilities for regional customers.
