The SaudiPedia initiative, affiliated with the Ministry of Media, has signed a cooperation agreement with the Museums Commission under the Ministry of Culture to document and enrich digital content related to museums across the Kingdom. The partnership aims to present accurate, well-researched information using reliable sources and a rigorous scientific methodology.
Under the agreement, both entities will work to strengthen the digital presence of Saudi museums and highlight their cultural and educational significance. The collaboration will focus on developing comprehensive content covering the history of museums, their collections, and key figures who have contributed to the sector.
The agreement also includes training programs to enhance digital documentation and knowledge-editing skills, as well as facilitating the exchange of expertise between SaudiPedia and the Museums Commission. These efforts are expected to support the creation of an integrated and authoritative knowledge base dedicated to Saudi Arabia’s museum sector.
SaudiPedia supports its written content with multimedia formats and updates it regularly to reflect the Kingdom’s rich cultural, historical, and geographical heritage. Its content is published in Arabic and five additional languages, helping extend global access to Saudi cultural knowledge.
