Saudi Absher Platform Records Over 38 Million Electronic Transactions in November

RIYADH: Saudi Arabia’s Ministry of Interior electronic services platform, Absher, processed more than 38.3 million electronic transactions during November across its Absher Individuals and Absher Businesses platforms, underscoring the Kingdom’s continued progress in digital government services.

Absher Individuals accounted for the majority of activity, completing 35.79 million transactions. Of these, more than 29.6 million involved document viewings through the digital wallet available to citizens, residents, and visitors via the Absher app. Absher Businesses recorded a further 2.52 million transactions during the same period.

The General Directorate of Public Security handled over 3.53 million transactions, including 3.43 million services delivered by the General Directorate of Traffic. The General Directorate of Passports processed 1.96 million transactions, while the Civil Status Agency completed 532,784 services.

Additional activity on Absher Individuals included the issuance of 124,926 reports, processing of 1,729 general fingerprint inquiries, and submission of 215 document delivery requests via postal services.

The Ministry of Interior also confirmed that the number of unified digital IDs issued through Absher has exceeded 28 million. These digital IDs enable secure access to services across Absher Individuals, Absher Business, and Absher Government platforms, while also providing entry to more than 500 government and private sector entities through the National Unified Access Portal, Nafath.
