Floward, the leading online flowers and gifts delivery platform across MENA and the UK, has launched the Floward Card in Bahrain in partnership with SimpliFi, INFINIOS, and Mastercard.

Designed as a prepaid payment card, the Floward Card transforms traditional cash gifting into a modern, personalized experience. Recipients can use it like a regular credit card, giving them the freedom to shop anytime, anywhere, while preserving the emotional value of gifting.

Bahrain’s position as one of the region’s most advanced fintech hubs makes it a natural launch market. With widespread adoption of cashless payments, the Kingdom provides an ideal environment for a product that blends fintech innovation with everyday moments of generosity.

Through its collaboration with SimpliFi, a regional leader in Cards as a Service (CaaS), INFINIOS, a trusted digital payments provider in Bahrain, and Mastercard, Floward ensures seamless integration of the Floward Card into the country’s digital-first lifestyle.

Floward Chairman and CEO Abdulaziz B. Al Loughani said the launch reflects the company’s vision of embedding innovation into meaningful human moments. By combining the flexibility of a payment card with the elegance of gifting, Floward aims to deliver a solution aligned with Bahrain’s fintech leadership and digital culture.

Mastercard’s Country Manager for Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Jordan and the Levant, Saud Swar, said the collaboration supports Bahrain’s growing fintech ecosystem and keeps customers at the center of digital innovation, offering a simple and secure payment option that enhances everyday convenience.

SimpliFi Founder and CEO Ali Sattar described the alliance as a demonstration of how technology can strengthen social bonds while delivering safer and more efficient spending experiences through digital-first, multi-currency card issuance.

INFINIOS CEO Sherif Abdelsalam added that the company is proud to provide the global card rails supporting the initiative, highlighting its multi-scheme, multi-channel payments capability as a foundation for future innovation.

Customers in Bahrain can now order the Floward Card via Floward’s website or app, pairing it with signature flower arrangements to create a fully personalized gifting experience.

Floward, founded in 2017, is a full-scale e-commerce platform offering premium flowers sourced globally and arranged locally, alongside cakes, chocolates, and perfumes curated by regional designers, supported by same-day last-mile delivery.
