The UAE Space Agency has been certified as a ‘Great Place to Work’ (GPTW) for 2026, following an independent employee workplace experience survey that confirmed it met the programme’s global standards. The recognition reflects the Agency’s sustained efforts to build a work environment rooted in trust, empowerment, innovation, and knowledge sharing.
His Excellency Salem Butti Al Qubaisi, Director-General of the UAE Space Agency, said the organisation has remained committed to creating a workplace that encourages initiative and creativity while enabling employees to actively contribute to the UAE’s ambitious space projects. He noted that this culture fosters teamwork and instils a strong sense of pride and belonging among staff.
“This certification confirms our success in building an environment that motivates and empowers local talent,” Al Qubaisi said. “It reflects our commitment to innovative talent management, continuous learning, flexibility, and equipping our people to face future challenges.”
The GPTW assessment is conducted through a unified employee survey evaluating key dimensions of workplace experience. These include trust between employees and leadership, fairness and respect, leadership effectiveness, collaboration, pride and belonging, and the organisation’s ability to provide an inclusive environment that supports growth, learning, and professional development.
The certification adds to the Agency’s growing record of institutional excellence. It follows the UAE Space Agency’s receipt of the Chartered Institute of Procurement & Supply (CIPS) Ethics Kitemark for the third consecutive year, making it the first space agency globally to achieve this distinction. Together, these recognitions underscore the Agency’s commitment to integrity, transparency, and building a sustainable organisational culture that supports national talent and operational excellence.
