EdfaPay Launches Smart SoftPOS Services in Saudi Arabia Following SAMA Approval

EdfaPay has officially activated its Smart SoftPOS services in Saudi Arabia after securing the required technical approvals from the Payments Authorization Center at the Saudi Central Bank (SAMA), in line with national compliance and security standards.

The launch enables merchants across the Kingdom to accept payments directly on any Android-based smartphone or tablet, eliminating the need for traditional point-of-sale hardware.

EdfaPay provides a comprehensive payments infrastructure designed to support banks, SAMA-licensed payment companies, and merchant service providers in scaling rapidly and efficiently. The platform allows partners to deploy flexible payment solutions tailored to a wide range of sectors.

The company’s ecosystem includes contactless SoftPOS capabilities, a secure e-payment gateway, and multiple digital payment channels, all delivered through a unified platform. This architecture supports a broad range of payment methods while significantly reducing dependence on physical terminals.

EdfaPay also offers API-driven and white-label solutions for banks, fintech firms, and large enterprises. These enable partners to launch fully branded payment services under their own identities, managed through a single, centralised dashboard.

The rollout strengthens Saudi Arabia’s cashless ecosystem and aligns with national objectives to modernise payments infrastructure, expand digital acceptance, and support merchants with cost-effective, scalable solutions.
