Posts, Telecommunications, and Information Technology Adviser Md Nahid Islam has urged state-owned mobile operator Teletalk to improve its service quality to meet public expectations. The directive was given during his visit to Teletalk’s headquarters in Gulshan, according to a ministry press release.
Islam emphasized the need to restructure and reform Teletalk to enhance service quality within its capabilities and improve customer service monitoring. When asked about the status of 5G piloting, Teletalk officials mentioned that BUET would submit a feasibility study report this month.
During the visit, Teletalk officials proposed launching a “GEN Z package” aimed at youth, to which Islam expressed his keen interest. Senior Teletalk officials were also present at the meeting.
