RAS AL KHAIMAH
February 13, 2026
Pakistan’s National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA) has introduced a mobile registration initiative in the United Arab Emirates to facilitate identification services for overseas Pakistanis. The initiative enables citizens residing in Ras Al Khaimah to access registration and documentation services without traveling to major cities or waiting in long queues.
Under the initiative, NADRA’s Mobile Registration Team, in coordination with the Pakistan Consulate, will provide services including new identity document applications, renewals, modifications, and corrections. The mobile registration service is scheduled to operate at the Pakistan Center in Ras Al Khaimah, allowing members of the Pakistani community to complete documentation processes more conveniently.
NADRA has also encouraged overseas Pakistanis to use the Pak ID mobile application, which allows users to apply for National Identity Cards for Overseas Pakistanis (NICOP) and other identification services digitally. The app enables applicants to submit requests, track applications, and complete processes remotely, reducing the need for physical visits.
In parallel, the authority continues to expand digital services through initiatives such as the “Nishan-e-Pakistan” online identity verification system. The platform aims to modernize identity verification processes by enabling government institutions and regulated private organizations to access secure and authenticated verification services through a centralized digital portal.
The mobile registration drive reflects broader efforts to improve accessibility and efficiency in public services for overseas citizens while advancing Pakistan’s digital governance and identity management infrastructure.
