DOHA – 18 February 2026: Dell Technologies and Ooredoo have signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) to jointly deliver and power next-generation AI services in Qatar.
The agreement was signed by Travers Nicholas, Managing Director, North Gulf at Dell Technologies, and Hassan Ismail Al-Emadi, Chief Business Officer at Ooredoo Qatar.
Under the MoU, the two companies intend to introduce AI-as-a-Service through Ooredoo’s Sovereign AI Cloud. Powered by Dell Technologies, the offering is designed to provide organisations with secure, scalable AI capabilities hosted within a locally governed cloud infrastructure. The initiative aims to enable enterprises and government entities to accelerate innovation, strengthen data sovereignty, and improve operational efficiency across sectors.
Hassan Ismail Al-Emadi said the partnership reflects Ooredoo’s commitment to delivering future-ready digital solutions to customers in Qatar. He noted that Dell’s advanced AI and infrastructure expertise will support Ooredoo in driving industry transformation and creating tangible value for businesses and communities.
Travers Nicholas highlighted Dell’s focus on enabling organisations to unlock the full potential of data and artificial intelligence. He added that combining Dell’s AI infrastructure portfolio with Ooredoo’s telecommunications capabilities will support digital transformation initiatives and equip businesses with scalable tools to seize emerging opportunities.
The collaboration reinforces Qatar’s broader ambitions to build sovereign, AI-enabled digital infrastructure and accelerate enterprise adoption of advanced technologies.
