Orange Jordan has introduced a new digital savings feature, “Tahweesheh,” through its Orange Money platform, reinforcing its commitment to advancing financial inclusion and expanding customer-centric financial solutions in the Kingdom.
Tahweesheh is a dedicated sub-account that enables users to save money easily and securely without interest or fees. The feature allows customers to allocate specific amounts toward clearly defined financial goals such as travel, school expenses, or emergency funds. Users can track their progress through detailed account statements and manage multiple objectives simultaneously by opening several sub-accounts within the app.
Eng. Philippe Mansour, Chairman of Orange Money Jordan, described the launch as a strategic step in empowering customers with flexible money management tools. He highlighted that the initiative aligns with Orange Money’s role as a trusted partner in advancing financial inclusion, particularly in supporting women’s economic participation in line with the Central Bank of Jordan’s national financial inclusion strategy.
The service has been available since the second half of last year and can be activated directly through the Orange Money application. With Tahweesheh, Orange Jordan aims to encourage consistent saving habits and strengthen long-term financial resilience among its users.
