Beyon Connect partners with Mubasher Capital to implement EKEY for Business

eyon Connect, a subsidiary of the Beyon Group, has entered into a partnership agreement with Mubasher Capital to roll out EKEY for Business (EKEY-B), Bahrain’s national digital identity authentication and consent-based eKYC solution for the private sector.

Under the agreement, Mubasher Capital will integrate EKEY-B into its onboarding and compliance processes, enabling biometric-based identity verification and secure digital customer registration. The move is designed to enhance regulatory compliance, reduce fraud risks, and streamline the client onboarding journey.

The signing ceremony was attended by Christopher Hild, CEO of Beyon Connect, and Ihab Rashad, General Manager of Mubasher Capital, reflecting both companies’ shared commitment to advancing secure and efficient digital services within Bahrain’s financial sector.

EKEY for Business acts as the private-sector extension of Bahrain’s national digital identity platform, eKey 2.0. It allows organizations to conduct electronic Know Your Customer (eKYC) checks through a secure, consent-driven framework, helping financial institutions improve operational efficiency while maintaining high compliance standards.

Through this collaboration, Mubasher Capital joins a growing list of financial institutions adopting Bahrain’s national digital identity infrastructure to strengthen trust, efficiency, and customer experience across the Kingdom’s evolving financial ecosystem.
