Khazna Data Centers has received the Tier III Certification of Design Documents (TCDD) from Uptime Institute for its new 100MW AI-optimised data centre, QAJ01, in Ajman.
The facility is set to become the first certified AI data centre in the Middle East and North Africa region designed with advanced liquid-cooling technology. The state-of-the-art development features 20 data halls, each delivering 5MW of IT capacity, purpose-built to support next-generation artificial intelligence workloads, including large-scale training and inference applications.
Located in Ajman, UAE, the data centre has been engineered to handle high rack densities and heavy thermal loads associated with AI systems, while maintaining operational resilience and energy efficiency. The Tier III certification validates that the design meets global standards for reliability and performance, marking the first step in the institute’s internationally recognised certification process.
