Saudi Arabia Launches “Tamkeen” Initiative to Boost Digital Economy and Support Local Talent

RIYADH — The Ministry of Communications and Information Technology, in collaboration with the National Information Technology Development Program (NTDP), has introduced the “Tamkeen” initiative. This new program is designed to bolster Saudi technical cadres within micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) as part of efforts to propel the growth of the digital economy, aligning with the objectives of Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030.

The “Tamkeen” initiative seeks to motivate technology companies to hire Saudi talent and support their ongoing development through a series of incentives, aiming to create a robust environment for local professionals in the tech industry.
