Zain Bahrain, a leading telecom operator in the Kingdom, recently celebrated the completion of its annual summer internship program with a special graduation event for 34 interns. The ceremony featured a video presentation that highlighted the interns’ hard work and dedication, and each participant was awarded a trophy and an e-certificate in recognition of their accomplishments.
The internship program at Zain Bahrain offers a valuable opportunity for young talent to gain hands-on experience in various departments, demonstrating the company’s commitment to sustainability and community engagement. Throughout the summer, interns engaged in significant projects, including visits to the Bahrain Mobility International Center and activities supporting the UN’s Climate Action goals (SDG 13).
Additionally, the program incorporated the “Be Well” initiative, which promotes a healthy and active lifestyle, integrating well-being activities that emphasize the importance of both professional and personal development.
Rana Al Majed, Zain Bahrain’s Chief Human Resources and Corporate Sustainability Officer, remarked on the program’s impact: “Our summer internship program plays a crucial role in nurturing and developing young talent across different sectors. It not only prepares them for leadership roles in Bahrain but also supports the broader goals of Bahrain’s Economic Vision 2030 by training national talents for regional leadership positions.”
Through this program, Zain Bahrain continues to foster a robust pipeline of skilled professionals ready to contribute to the telecom sector and beyond, underscoring its dedication to corporate sustainability and community development.
