During his official visit to the United States, UAE President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan held key discussions with Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella, BlackRock CEO Larry Fink, and Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang. These meetings centered around the rapid advancements in artificial intelligence (AI) and modern technology, exploring the expanding collaboration between the UAE and the US in these fields.
The discussions highlighted the ongoing cooperation between the two nations, including the recent partnership between G42 and Microsoft, as well as the newly announced Global AI Infrastructure Investment Partnership. This initiative, which involves UAE-based technology company MGX, Microsoft, BlackRock, and other major players, marks a significant step forward in AI investment aimed at fostering global development and prosperity.
President Sheikh Mohamed reiterated the UAE’s commitment to investing in AI and advanced technologies to drive the country’s growth and development objectives. He emphasized the importance of responsible AI use and underscored the potential for these technologies to create economic opportunities and accelerate progress globally through international cooperation.
