Zain Iraq Partners with Nokia to Modernize Network and Boost Connectivity Across Southern Iraq

Zain Iraq has announced a strategic partnership with Nokia to modernize and enhance its network capabilities over the next three years. This initiative aims to significantly upgrade the operator’s infrastructure across southern Iraq, leveraging Nokia’s advanced microwave technology to improve network performance and meet the growing demand for data services.

As one of Iraq’s leading telecom operators, serving 19 million customers, Zain Iraq is committed to delivering an efficient mobile experience. With the rapid pace of digital transformation driving higher network capacity needs, the collaboration with Nokia will enable Zain to modernize its infrastructure, overcoming current limitations and future-proofing the network for further growth. This initiative is especially geared toward catering to Iraq’s young, tech-savvy population.
