Dubai Chambers and du Forge Strategic Partnership to Empower Local Businesses

Dubai Chambers has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with du, the leading telecom and digital services provider, to establish a new strategic partnership aimed at empowering the local business community and unlocking competitive advantages for private sector companies in Dubai.

Under the terms of the MoU, du will provide high-quality services to members of the Dubai Chamber of Commerce, one of the three chambers operating under Dubai Chambers. Members will have access to exclusive enterprise offers.

As part of this agreement, members of the Dubai Chamber of Commerce will receive complimentary access to du’s Entrepreneurship Hub at Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC), recognized as the first and largest FinTech accelerator in the Middle East, Africa, and South Asia (MEASA) region. Companies will be able to engage with the du Business Entrepreneurship Programme, initiated with the DIFC Innovation Hub, which supports SMEs by focusing on scalability, accessibility, and digital transformation. This programme offers practical training in communication, marketing, and cybersecurity, enabling SMEs to adapt for growth and integrate AI technologies to enhance competitiveness and streamline operations.

Khalid Al Jarwan, Vice President of Operations and Acting Vice-President of Digital and Commercial Sectors at Dubai Chambers, remarked, “Partnering with du is a critical step in enhancing the value-added services available to the business community in Dubai. We look forward to collaborating to provide vital communications and technology support to local companies, which will contribute to their success and the development of their digital operations in line with our strategic priorities.”

In a separate announcement, du successfully concluded its participation at Gitex Global 2024, held from October 14 to October 18 in Dubai. The event served as a platform for du to align with this year’s theme, “Add transformation to tomorrow. With integrated Solutions.” Reflecting its role as a digital enabler, du showcased an expanded B2B portfolio, including the introduction of du Tech and du Infra, designed to propel key government entities and businesses towards comprehensive digital evolution.

du’s commitment to driving the digital agenda and fostering a future AI economy was evident through dynamic showcases featuring state-of-the-art solutions across agriculture, manufacturing, retail, and government services.
