Robi Axiata has appointed M Riyaaz Rasheed as acting CEO, following the reassignment of Rajeev Sethi to a new role within the Axiata Group. Rasheed, the company’s CFO, had previously served as acting CEO in 2021. Robi is the second-largest mobile operator in Bangladesh, with 5.71 crore subscribers.
Saoud Hamad Al Riyami has been appointed Acting CEO of Ooredoo Oman, effective 27 February 2025, succeeding Bassam Yousef Al Ibrahim. Al Riyami, with over 18 years of experience, is currently the Chief Business and Wholesale Officer at Ooredoo Oman. He will serve in the acting role until a permanent CEO is named.
