Saudi Arabia and UNESCO have launched a collaborative framework for sustainable AI under Vision 2030. The initiative focuses on “Greening of AI” to reduce energy consumption and “Greening with AI” to solve global environmental issues. By embedding ethics and human-centered design, the Kingdom aims to lead global responsible AI governance.
Oman’s Ministry of Transport, Communications, and Information Technology (MTCIT) has established a national AI committee to guide the country’s AI integration across key sectors. The committee will focus on policy development, ethical AI guidelines, education, and fostering public-private partnerships to drive digital transformation aligned with Oman Vision 2040.
