Humain and AirTrunk have announced a $3 billion partnership to build hyperscale, AI-ready data centres in Saudi Arabia. Backed by PIF, Blackstone, and CPP Investments, the initiative will power Saudi Arabia’s 6.6GW data centre vision and accelerate national AI infrastructure development.
Global AI spending is expected to reach $1.5 trillion in 2025 and exceed $2 trillion in 2026, Gartner reports. Investments are fueled by hyperscaler data centers, Chinese and new AI players, and strong venture capital support, with AI increasingly embedded into consumer devices and enterprise infrastructure.
