Egypt’s Minister of Environment, Yasmine Fouad, met with Tajanus Group to discuss a smart digital waste management system. The platform allows easy waste collection requests, optimizes logistics, and supports a circular economy through data-driven recycling. The government is considering adopting it to improve efficiency and sustainability in waste management.

stc Bahrain has reached a milestone in its “Trees for Life” campaign, planting over 55,000 trees across the Kingdom since 2021. In 2024, 27,172 trees were planted, contributing to Bahrain’s national afforestation goals. The campaign promotes sustainability, supports the government’s net-zero vision, and strengthens community engagement.
Starting January 2025, Saudi Arabia mandates the use of USB Type-C as the unified charging port for mobile devices and electronics. This move aims to improve user experience, reduce costs, and promote sustainability by minimizing electronic waste. The second phase, including laptops, will begin in April 2026.
