With over 34 years of experience, he will focus on driving AI innovation and expanding Microsoft’s presence across EMEA, continuing the company’s transformation initiatives and regional growth strategies.
Sheikh Nasser bin Hamad bin Nasser al-Thani has been appointed as Ooredoo’s Group Regional CEO for the Middle East, effective December 16, 2024. The move is part of a broader restructuring, introducing two regional CEO positions. Sheikh Nasser brings over 20 years of experience within Ooredoo to his new role.
