Muscat, November 3, 2025 — In a milestone for Oman’s digital entrepreneurship, two Omani innovators have launched Ajarlee, the country’s first locally developed car rental application, designed to digitize and simplify the vehicle rental experience across the Sultanate.
Oman’s Royal Academy of Management, in partnership with the Rising Omani Startups Programme, has launched the six-month Startup Leadership Programme to equip founders with strategic leadership, financial, and growth skills. The initiative supports Oman Vision 2040 by preparing startups for sustainable international expansion.
Rihal, an Omani SaaS and AI solutions provider, has raised $7.5M in Series A funding led by ITHCA Group. The funds will fuel regional expansion, scale proprietary platforms like Jadawal and Eysal, and enhance AI-driven data solutions for clients in government, telecom, logistics, and oil and gas.
Oman is making strides in AI innovation, with numerous startups leading the charge across various sectors. From marine sustainability to FinTech, these AI-driven companies are shaping the future of industries in the Sultanate. The government’s National AI Program supports the goal of boosting digital economy contributions to 10% by 2040.
