Pakistan’s PTA has announced the launch of 5G internet service by April 2025. Efforts are underway to upgrade telecom services, including the restoration of the submarine cable, expected by August 2025. NERA, a US-based consultancy, has been awarded the responsibility to oversee the 5G spectrum auction.
