QatarEnergy Partners with TotalEnergies to Develop Major Solar Project in Iraq

QatarEnergy has partnered with TotalEnergies to develop a 1.25GW solar project in Iraq’s Basra region. The project will feature two million bifacial solar panels and aims to supply green electricity to 350,000 homes. It is part of Iraq’s Gas Growth Integrated Project and is set for completion between 2025 and 2027.
