The UAE has launched a national-scale partnership to build its first space-to-ground quantum communication network using Quantum Key Distribution (QKD). Through a collaboration between TII and Space42, the country aims to develop satellite-based quantum links, enhance cyber resilience, and position itself as a global leader in next-generation secure communication technologies.
Etihad Salam has joined the Saudi Arabia Quantum Network Consortium, led by KACST, to advance quantum-secure communication infrastructure. The partnership supports Vision 2030’s digital goals and positions Saudi Arabia as a regional leader in post-quantum security.
