Telecom Egypt is enhancing its infrastructure to meet the growing connectivity demands in the Middle East and Egypt. With strategic subsea cable investments, new data centers, and partnerships with global tech providers, Telecom Egypt is positioning Egypt as a regional digital hub to support the rise of AI, cloud, and IoT applications.
Telecom Egypt has activated a Mediterranean subsea link on the 2Africa subsea cable system, in collaboration with Cisco. This high-capacity link connects Port Said, Egypt, to Marseille, France, and addresses the rising demand for cloud and AI services. The project enhances the subsea network’s efficiency and international traffic capacity.
