Albania’s Prime Minister Edi Rama announced a memorandum of understanding with Telecom Egypt and Hungarian company 4iG to build a direct underwater cable line between Albania and Egypt. This project aims to enhance digital connectivity, positioning Albania as a key player in the Mediterranean’s digital infrastructure by 2030.
