Orange Jordan celebrated the one-year anniversary of its 5G services launch in the Kingdom with a panel discussion at the Innovation Hub on August 7th. The event brought together experts to discuss the transformative impact of 5G technology on various sectors in Jordan, highlighting significant growth and future prospects.

The session featured speakers such as Shadi Al Bess, Manager of the Innovation Hub and Fabrication Labs at Orange Jordan; Eng. Lujain Ennab, Innovation and Fabrication Lab Technical Engineer at Orange Jordan; and Eng. Ibrahim Ibrahim, Founder and General Manager of My-Communication Academy, which specializes in enhancing telecom engineers’ skills. Attendees included professionals from the tech sector, representatives from the Crown Prince Foundation, and several tech companies.

Eng. Ibrahim Ibrahim and Shadi Al Bess emphasized the revolutionary potential of 5G in driving innovation across all sectors. Eng. Lujain Ennab shared insights on Orange’s initiatives, such as the 5G Agriculture Bootcamp, which educates students and youth on the applications of 5G in agriculture.

This session aligns with Orange Jordan’s commitment to raising public awareness about innovation and its role in transforming various industries. The event included presentations and interactive discussions on the latest 5G technology advancements and the role of the Innovation Hub as a platform for these trends.

Additionally, the Innovation Hub recently hosted a session to highlight successful women in engineering, encouraging more young women to join the sector under Orange Jordan’s Program for Women in Engineering.
