Jazz, Pakistan’s leading digital operator, has teamed up with Mobilink Microfinance Bank Limited (MMBL), the country’s top digital microfinance bank, to accelerate financial inclusion and empowerment across Pakistan. This strategic partnership marks a key milestone in transforming Pakistan’s financial services landscape, with a strong focus on enhancing customer engagement and promoting digital literacy.
By combining their expertise, Jazz and MMBL are launching a women’s entrepreneurship initiative aimed at empowering female customers with essential digital tools. Through this initiative, female lenders will receive free smartphones with Jazz SIM cards, providing 12 months of free data along with pre-installed applications for seamless access to financial services.
The partnership also introduces an innovative Reverse Ring Back Tone (RRBT) loan recovery campaign, where customers will hear personalized MMBL messages during their calls, serving as payment reminders while also highlighting new MMBL products and services to boost customer awareness and engagement.
Kazim Mujtaba, President of Jazz’s Consumer Division, said, “Our collaboration with Mobilink Bank showcases our commitment to innovation and customer-centric solutions. Together, we are leveraging digital technology to enhance customer communication and empower women through digital inclusion and entrepreneurship, aligning with our broader vision of a digitally inclusive Pakistan.”
Haaris Mahmood Chaudhary, Interim CEO of Mobilink Bank, added, “This partnership with Jazz allows us to advance financial empowerment and inclusion, especially for women. By providing essential digital assets and promoting digital literacy, we aim to broaden our reach and drive financial inclusion across the country.”
