Ooredoo, Qatar’s leading telecom provider, has teamed up with Qatar Islamic Bank (QIB), the nation’s top digital bank, to introduce a new AutoPay service. This innovative feature, accessible through the QIB Mobile App, allows customers to effortlessly set up automatic payments for their Ooredoo services.
To mark the launch, QIB is offering an incentive where customers will earn double Nojoom points on their first bill payment during the promotional period. Under this promotion, Red and Silver members, who usually earn one point for every QR 2 spent, will now earn two points per QR 2 spent. Al Nokhba and Gold members will also benefit from doubling their usual points.
Sabah Rabiah Al-Kuwari, Director of PR, Sponsorships, and CSR at Ooredoo Qatar, expressed excitement about enhancing their partnership with QIB, emphasizing the commitment to providing customers with more convenient payment options and rewarding loyalty. “At Ooredoo, we are always looking to enhance the customer experience with innovative solutions that simplify their lives and deliver superior service,” Al-Kuwari stated.
D. Anand, QIB’s General Manager – Personal Banking Group, highlighted the benefits of the new feature, saying, “We’re delighted to collaborate with Ooredoo to introduce this AutoPay feature, enhancing our customers’ banking experience by making online banking more convenient, personalized, and beneficial.”
This collaboration between Ooredoo and QIB is set to transform the way customers in Qatar manage their bill payments, offering a modern, flexible alternative to traditional payment methods.
