Zoho Corp, a global technology leader, announced on Tuesday an investment of Dh46 million to bolster digitalization in over 7,000 UAE businesses, marking a significant increase from the previous year. This announcement was made during a press conference at GITEX, where Zoho also unveiled its new product, Zoho IoT—a scalable, low-code platform that allows businesses to create and implement custom Internet of Things (IoT) solutions.
The company’s strategic partnerships with key local public and private entities have been pivotal in driving digital transformation across the UAE. These collaborations have provided UAE businesses with vital resources, including wallet credits and upskilling programs, facilitating digital advancements in sectors such as IT, real estate, construction, retail, transportation, and logistics. Zoho’s comprehensive suite of products, including Zoho One, Zoho Books, and Zoho CRM Plus, have been widely adopted with a conversion rate of 57%.
Hyther Nizam, President of Middle East and Africa at Zoho Corp, emphasized the importance of these partnerships, stating, “Strategic alliances are crucial for advancing digital transformation in the UAE. Our investments help businesses of all sizes transition to cloud-based solutions, maximizing their digital potential and contributing to national economic progress.”
Zoho has seen a notable rise in adoption among large enterprises in the region, driven by the need to reduce costs and enhance competitiveness. Since 2020, the company has partnered with several local institutions like Dubai Economy and Tourism Department and Middlesex University Dubai to provide access to digital tools and training, enhancing digital skill sets among the emerging workforce.
The newly launched Zoho IoT offers tailor-made industry solutions that integrate smoothly with third-party hardware, facilitating rapid scalability and enhancing customer experiences. “Connecting things with business workflows is essential for a seamless customer experience,” Nizam explained. “Zoho IoT’s platform-first approach, with its customizable, interoperable, and secure features, simplifies IoT adoption and boosts operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.”
