Ooredoo Qatar has announced a strategic alliance with Hayya, aimed at managing the influx of international visitors for its key events. This partnership, formalized on 27 October 2024 at Ooredoo’s headquarters, involves Sabah Rabiah al-Kuwari, Ooredoo’s Director of Public Relations, CSR & Sponsorship, and Saeed al-Kuwari, Director of Hayya. The collaboration focuses on streamlining the visa process and integrating Ooredoo’s eSIM services with each tourist visa issued via the Hayya platform, ensuring immediate connectivity for visitors upon arrival.
The initiative promises a seamless entry into Qatar, enhancing the experience at notable events like M360 and the Ooredoo Doha Marathon. Sabah Rabiah al-Kuwari expressed enthusiasm about the partnership, noting, “This collaboration with Hayya not only simplifies the visa acquisition but also equips our guests with instant access to our eSIM technology, keeping them connected throughout their stay.”
Hayya, known for its comprehensive digital solutions for travel and event management, will facilitate the visa process through its app and platform, making it easier for global participants to engage in Qatar’s top events. Saeed al-Kuwari underscored the partnership’s role in making Qatar’s premier events more accessible and inviting.
This strategic partnership comes as Ooredoo gears up for the M360 MENA conference in November and the Ooredoo Doha Marathon in January, both of which draw significant international participation. The collaboration with Hayya is set to enhance visitor convenience, allowing them to immerse fully in the event experiences without the hassle of visa procedures.
