In a significant move to bridge the digital divide, Zong, in collaboration with DCode, has introduced an affordable device-data bundle aimed at increasing accessibility to high-speed internet across the country. This initiative seeks to promote broader participation in the digital economy and improve access to essential online services such as business, education, and healthcare, making 4G more accessible and affordable for the masses.
Available at Zong Customer Service Centers in Karachi, Lahore, Islamabad, and Rawalpindi, the new device is priced at Rs. 21,999 and includes a generous 12 GB free data bundle for six months. This allows customers to enjoy uninterrupted connectivity on Pakistan’s leading 4G network.
The newly launched Cygnal 4 Lite is designed to deliver a seamless 4G experience, featuring a 6.6-inch HD display, 8 GB RAM, and 64 GB ROM (expandable up to 256 GB). It also boasts a robust 5000 mAh battery with Type-C support, providing both performance and value.
“Connectivity must reach every corner of the country, but accessibility alone isn’t enough—affordability is equally crucial for meaningful adoption,” said Mr. Sajid Munir, Director of Marketing at Zong. “Our network expansion efforts will be in vain if barriers to entry are not addressed. This offer is a step towards breaking down those barriers.”
Following the successful launch of the Cygnal 3 Lite in July, the Cygnal 4 Lite is part of Zong’s broader strategy to roll out a series of affordable 4G devices in the coming year. These efforts demonstrate Zong’s commitment to continuous innovation and its goal to cater to the evolving needs of its diverse customer base.
