Digital Dubai has entered into an agreement with the Dubai Future Foundation (DFF) to cultivate national competencies capable of anticipating and shaping the future with innovative concepts, technologies, skills, and tools.
The agreement was signed by Tariq Al Janahi, Chief Executive Officer of the Corporate Enablement Sector at Digital Dubai, and Saeed Al Falasi, Executive Director of Future Design and Acceleration at DFF. The partnership emphasizes a shared commitment to developing capabilities that align with emerging technologies and future demands.
A key focus of the collaboration is the empowerment of participants in the Digital Pioneers Programme, an initiative by Digital Dubai designed to train new graduates for one year, preparing them to become future leaders. The programme combines technical and behavioural skills, with a strong emphasis on emerging technologies such as artificial intelligence and tools of the Fourth Industrial Revolution.
Tariq Al Janahi highlighted the alignment of the agreement with Digital Dubai’s goal of enhancing digital competencies, investing in talent to drive digital transformation, and providing diverse training resources. He expressed excitement that DFF will play a pivotal role as a learning and training hub for Dubai’s digital talent.
He added that the significance of this partnership lies in the shared vision of both organizations to anticipate future technologies and implement strategies that ensure readiness to shape Dubai’s future. The collaboration supports the Dubai Economic Agenda D33 and the vision of making Dubai a model for future cities by digitizing all aspects of life in the emirate.
Saeed Al Falasi emphasized that imagining, designing, and executing the future is central to DFF’s mission. He noted that strategic partnerships with entities like Digital Dubai reinforce Dubai’s status as the world’s most future-ready city.
Al Falasi further discussed Dubai’s ongoing initiatives aimed at enhancing skills and empowering talent to master future technologies, thus ensuring the emirate’s competitiveness in the global economy. The agreement represents a crucial step toward preparing highly skilled professionals with the tools and expertise to drive sustainable growth and ensure Dubai’s position among the world’s top three economic cities in the next decade.
