Onda Partners with Seed Group to Expand Hospitality Tech Presence in the Middle East

Onda, a leading South Korean AI and big data-driven hospitality technology company, has announced its plans to form a joint venture with UAE-based Seed Group. This collaboration will leverage Seed Group’s regional networks to help Onda accelerate its entry into the Middle East market.

As part of its expansion strategy, Onda also plans to complete the SaaS localization testing of its proprietary technology by the first half of 2025. With a strong foothold in South Korea, where it controls approximately 60-70% of the domestic online booking market, Onda is now focused on strengthening its regional presence through a diversified marketing approach.

Onda has established significant partnerships with global tech giants, making history as the first Airbnb and Trip.com Excellent Partner in Korea. It has also been recognized as a 2024 Booking.com Advanced Connectivity Partner. Furthermore, Onda ranks 34th on the Global PMS Vendor list by Skift, a US-based travel research company.

The company has been active in the Middle East, showcasing its advanced solutions at major industry events like Expand North Star and Gitex 2024. At these events, Onda presented tailored digital transformation strategies for the region, highlighting its flagship technologies, including Onda Hub, its CRS (Central Reservation System), and PMS (Property Management System).

Kevin Oh, CEO of Onda, expressed that the joint venture with Seed Group is a major step in Onda’s efforts to enter the Middle Eastern market, marking the beginning of a new chapter for the company.
