Kuwait Finance House (KFH) has enhanced its digital offerings by introducing a range of new banking services on the KFHonline app, solidifying its leadership in digital banking innovation. The move is designed to provide customers with a seamless and secure banking experience, further reinforcing KFH’s commitment to technological advancement.
Meshal Al-Obaid, Executive Manager of Digital and Alternative Channels at KFH, highlighted the bank’s expanded digital services, including WAMD, an instant money transfer solution. Through WAMD, customers can request funds from a group of individuals by using their phone numbers. The service enables real-time delivery of requests and allows customers to easily track the payment status of each user in the transaction history.
WAMD allows users to instantly send and request money to other customers at KFH or any local bank, using only their mobile numbers. This service is available around the clock and is free for customers.
Al-Obaid emphasized that this service, developed in collaboration with KNET and accessible on KFHonline, showcases the bank’s digital leadership. It reflects KFH’s focus on providing innovative digital financial solutions and enhancing payment systems, which is aligned with its strategy to continuously improve technology and offer seamless digital experiences for customers.
Request Money from a Group
Al-Obaid mentioned that KFH customers can now request money from a group by sharing a payment link, entering recipients’ phone numbers, or creating a group. Users can also track everyone’s payment status via the transaction history in KFH PAY.
Financing Online
He further explained that applying for online financing requests has been simplified on KFHonline. Customers can easily access the service under “Finance Services” > “Finance Request” within the app.
Banking Cards
To enhance the customer experience, KFH has simplified the process of adding beneficiaries and making transfers. The bank also introduced a variety of card services, such as the ability to temporarily deactivate and reactivate cards, view card details, and check PIN numbers.
Al-Obaid emphasized KFH’s continued commitment to maintaining leadership in digital banking, offering a broad range of innovative services and solutions. This helps to provide seamless, fast, and secure banking experiences that meet all financial needs, eliminating the need for branch visits.
Over 150 Services on KFHonline
Through the KFHonline app and website, KFH customers have access to over 150 services. Additionally, KFH’s XTM and KFH GO smart branches offer approximately 50 more services, bringing the total to nearly 200 e-services available to KFH customers.
