beIN SPORTS Launches New Podcast Series ‘Tales, Tears & Trophies’ Hosted by Mikael Silvestre

beIN SPORTS kicks off the new year with an exciting addition to its lineup: a six-part English-language podcast series titled Tales, Tears & Trophies. Hosted by former Manchester United and Arsenal star Mikael Silvestre, the series delves into the highs and lows of life at the top of professional football.

The podcast promises exclusive content and unique insights as Silvestre sits down with a range of renowned guests, including some of his most illustrious opponents. The series debuts today, January 15, with an hour-long episode featuring Joe Hart, former Manchester City and England goalkeeper. The two discuss Hart’s rise from England’s lower leagues to Premier League success, his missed opportunities with the national team, and the moment when Pep Guardiola informed him he was no longer needed at Manchester City.

In the coming weeks, Tales, Tears & Trophies will feature other notable football personalities such as Ashley Cole, who made a high-profile move from Arsenal to Chelsea and went on to become one of the best full-backs in the world; Glenn Hoddle, former manager of Tottenham Hotspur, Wolves, and England; Joe Cole, once seen as a generational talent at Chelsea and England; and Liverpool legends Jason McAteer and Luis Garcia, the latter of whom played a key role in the club’s unforgettable 2005 UEFA Champions League final victory over AC Milan.

beIN SPORTS has also seen great success in the Middle East and North Africa with its Arabic-language podcasts, such as Asateer (Legends), which celebrates sporting heroes from the region, and The beIN Podcast, which highlights fan opinions following major sporting events. With its growing investment in digital audio, beIN SPORTS is expanding its presence in the podcasting space.
