Orange Foundation Global and Orange Foundation Jordan have signed a partnership agreement with Terre des hommes (Tdh), a leading Swiss child rights organization, to launch two new Women’s Digital Centers in Jordan. These centers, located in Amman and Irbid, aim to extend their reach to women across all Jordanian governorates.
The new centers will complement the existing network of eight Women’s Digital Centers under the Orange Digital Centers (ODC) initiative. Through these centers, Orange Foundation Jordan provides women with a dynamic space to foster creativity, enhance their digital and soft skills, and empower them to thrive in the digital world.
The collaboration between Orange Foundation Jordan and Tdh is rooted in their shared vision to create a better reality for women. By joining forces, they aim to increase the number of women who can benefit from the programs offered at the new centers. Training programs will focus on primary digital skills such as programming and mobile app development, as well as advanced programs in entrepreneurship, skills management, mental health support, and more. These programs are designed to equip women with the tools they need to build a better future.
Orange Foundation Jordan has already made an impact with its Women’s Digital Centers, graduating over 900 women, many of whom are now contributing to their communities and supporting national development efforts.
