Nigerian Communications Satellite Limited (NIGCOMSAT) and Eutelsat Group, a global satellite communications leader, have announced a groundbreaking multi-year, multi-million-dollar partnership to provide low Earth orbit (LEO) satellite services in Nigeria. This strategic agreement positions NIGCOMSAT as the nation’s leading satellite service provider, utilizing the OneWeb LEO network to offer high-speed, low-latency connectivity.
The partnership aims to serve a wide array of sectors, including government, businesses, and underserved rural areas. It will support critical applications such as remote communications, mobile connectivity, and offshore operations.

NIGCOMSAT seeks to empower communities and industries with top-tier satellite services. Its NigComSat-1R satellite currently supports crucial sectors like communication, education, health, and security.
