Oman’s MoHERI Partners with Digital Talent Company for National Digital Transformation

The Ministry of Higher Education, Research and Innovation (MoHERI) in Oman has partnered with Digital Talent Company to implement a comprehensive digital change management framework, aimed at supporting the national digital transformation plan. The agreement was signed by H E Rahma bint Ibrahim al Mahrouqi, Minister of MoHERI, and Dr. Hamoud bin Saeed al Kharousi, CEO of Digital Talent Company.

The initiative will focus on creating a roadmap for aligning MoHERI’s activities with Oman’s broader digital transformation goals. Dr. Yaqoub bin Juma al Raisi, Director General of Planning at MoHERI, emphasized that the framework will promote a culture of digital and institutional change within the ministry. The plan includes specialized consultations to help employees transition smoothly and adapt to modern technologies.

Awareness workshops and interactive sessions will be organized for ministry employees, with 15 employees receiving certification in change management to lead the transformation. The program underscores Digital Talent Company’s commitment to empowering national talent and strengthening institutional culture to advance Oman’s digital transformation.

This initiative supports Vision 2040, preparing future leaders to accelerate digital transformation in government institutions, improving operational efficiency and contributing to sustainable development across sectors.
