Kazakhstan’s IT Hub Achieves Global Expansion with Innovative Startups and Technology Projects

Astana Hub, home to 1,600 registered IT companies, continues to lead Kazakhstan’s tech evolution with successful projects making international waves. Among the standout innovations are the Alaqan palm print recognition system, Higgsfield AI for video creation, and the Codiplay children’s programming initiative.

Key Highlights

Alaqan Palm Print Recognition System
The Alaqan system, already installed in 300 schools, has recently been introduced at the Kazakh Government building. This palm print recognition technology is set to expand internationally, with plans for export to six countries, including Saudi Arabia, Singapore, and Kuwait, by mid-2025.

Higgsfield AI
This innovative project, valued at 100 million US dollars, uses AI to create and edit videos from text, showcasing Kazakhstan’s strong presence in AI-driven media technologies.

Codiplay Project
Codiplay, a children’s programming initiative, has been introduced in schools across 13 countries, including South Korea, Turkiye, the UK, and Qatar. Valued at 100 million US dollars, the project highlights Kazakhstan’s growing impact on educational technologies.

Other Notable Projects
Kazakhstan’s tech ecosystem is thriving with other successful startups like Grand Mobile, CITIX, CEREBRA, OGames, Parqour, and ApartX, all reflecting the country’s growing potential as a tech leader.

These achievements were discussed during an expanded meeting of the Kazakh Government, chaired by President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, underscoring Kazakhstan’s commitment to fostering innovation and strengthening its global tech footprint.
