Orange Egypt has teamed up with the Egyptian Holding Company for Airports and Air Navigation (EHCAAN) to support Egypt’s digital transformation efforts. This partnership introduces a range of advanced technological services aimed at improving the travel experience for visitors and passengers at Cairo International Airport.
As part of the initial phase, Orange Egypt has launched free Wi-Fi services for incoming and departing passengers at Cairo International Airport. The Wi-Fi kiosks installed in all terminals help passengers access the service easily, while a specialized support team ensures seamless connectivity. This initiative is designed to offer an exceptional technological experience from the moment travelers arrive in Egypt.
The partnership also introduces AI-powered interactive screens across the airport. These screens will assist passengers by providing real-time flight details, information on lounges and boarding gates, and an interactive map to help with navigation. Orange Egypt will manage and support the operation of these services, ensuring they meet the needs of travelers.
Ayman Arab, Chairman & CEO of EHCAAN, highlighted that the agreement with Orange Egypt marks an important milestone in improving the passenger experience at Egyptian airports. The collaboration aims to enhance Cairo International Airport’s status as a regional hub while offering cutting-edge services that ensure passenger comfort and satisfaction.
This partnership is part of a broader effort to integrate advanced technologies into Egypt’s airport infrastructure, enhancing the overall travel experience and positioning the country as a leader in digital airport services in the region.
