The General Confederation of Moroccan Enterprises (CGEM) has launched the program “Generation AI: Boosting 1000 Moroccan SMEs” in collaboration with the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) and LinkedIn. The initiative aims to support 1000 small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in Morocco by helping them adopt artificial intelligence (AI) through exclusive LinkedIn learning licenses.
The program is designed to equip Moroccan entrepreneurs with the skills and knowledge to better leverage the opportunities presented by AI, enhancing their competitiveness and productivity. The initiative will offer a series of training modules on innovation, sustainability, and digital strategy, providing entrepreneurs and startups with individual, non-transferable licenses valid until September 2025.
In addition to LinkedIn, CGEM has partnered with organizations like Technopark and the Moroccan Association of Women Entrepreneurs (AFEM) to maximize the program’s impact across the Moroccan entrepreneurial community. SMEs are recognized as a key driver of economic growth and innovation in Morocco, and initiatives like this one are part of the country’s broader efforts to provide financial support and training to enhance business competitiveness.
As the digital age rapidly transforms industries worldwide, Morocco is focused on providing technical solutions that help its entrepreneurs stay competitive in the evolving digital landscape. By equipping SMEs with the necessary tools and knowledge, CGEM aims to ensure that Moroccan businesses remain at the forefront of this transformation.
