Visa hosted its first-ever Visa Connect Amman event, bringing together nearly 150 participants from the Jordanian, Iraqi, Lebanese, and Palestinian financial industries. The event, marking a significant milestone for Visa in the North Africa, Levant, and Pakistan (NALP) region, focused on the future of digital payments and emerging trends influencing digitization in the region.
Industry experts shared insights on topics such as business growth opportunities, new product solutions, and AI-enabled digital experiences. Mario Makary, Vice President and Cluster Manager for Visa in the Levant, highlighted the region’s accelerating digitization journey and Visa’s commitment to driving innovation. He emphasized the importance of networking and knowledge sharing, which the event facilitated, offering a platform for local needs to be addressed with global and regional insights.
