As part of the preparations for the 34th edition of the COMEX Oman Conference and Exhibition, a preparatory conference will be held in Cairo on February 18. The conference aims to introduce the event and encourage Egyptian companies to participate in Oman’s rapidly growing ICT market.
COMEX Oman, organized by the Arabian Research Bureau with support from the Omani Ministry of Transport, Communications, and Information Technology, seeks to enhance regional cooperation and showcase innovations in technology, telecommunications, digital arts, and electronic gaming. The event, scheduled for September 7-10, 2025, offers a gateway for Egyptian businesses to tap into the Omani ICT market, valued at approximately $5.47 billion and projected to reach $9.07 billion by 2029.
Oman is focusing on strategic government initiatives, economic diversification, and investment in e-government services, e-commerce, fintech, and digital infrastructure. The country is advancing smart city projects, expanding 5G networks, and investing in artificial intelligence, making it a prime destination for global tech companies. With Oman’s strong technological achievements in e-government, cloud computing, cybersecurity, and AI, COMEX Oman provides an ideal platform for Egyptian companies to explore investment opportunities and contribute to regional technology and innovation development.
The conference will offer a unique opportunity for Egyptian entrepreneurs to connect with industry experts, learn about the latest trends, and discover collaboration opportunities in Oman’s booming digital economy.
