PTCL Group Announces 2024 Financial Results with Impressive Growth and Innovation

Pakistan Telecommunication Company Limited (PTCL) has revealed its financial results for the fiscal year 2024, reporting a remarkable 17% revenue growth. PTCL’s strong performance solidifies its position as Pakistan’s leading telecom service provider, driven by significant growth in consumer segments, including fixed broadband, mobile data, and wholesale solutions.

Key highlights for the PTCL Group include a 12% revenue growth for PTCL, a 25% YoY revenue increase for Ufone, and continued success for U Microfinance Bank (U Bank), which was honored at the 10th Islamic Retail Banking Awards. PTCL’s premium FTTH service, Flash Fiber, captured a substantial share of the market, with 650,000 subscribers and a 104% YoY growth.

PTCL’s innovation-driven approach was reflected in the launch of new services such as SHOQ TV Box and Flash Eye, alongside customer-centric platforms like the WhatsApp Bot. Additionally, the Group expanded its business solutions offerings, including the growth of its data centers and cloud services.

Ufone 4G saw significant expansion, reaching over 26 million total subscribers and 17 million 4G subscribers in 2024. The company continued to enhance its digital offerings with value-added services like Golootlo and Shoq. Ufone’s mobile financial services also saw a 75% increase in transactions and a twofold increase in active users.

Socially, PTCL Group reinforced its commitment to community service through initiatives like ‘Dil Se,’ which empowers women entrepreneurs in Haripur, and its collaboration with organizations like UNICEF and PRCS. The company also made strides in promoting inclusion, including the first-ever women’s cricket tournament in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

Overall, PTCL Group’s 2024 performance highlights its focus on growth, innovation, and social impact, reaffirming its leadership in the telecom and ICT sectors.
